Who Am I?
Can you answer this question? If not, here are some clues.
A) I am an educator and author. In January of 2021, I became the first lady of the United States.
B) I was born in 1951 in New Jersey. I married for the second time in 1977. My husband was a young U.S. senator from Delaware. After taking time off after the birth of our daughter Ashley, I returned to teaching. I earned a doctorate in education in 2007, and remained a teacher after my husband was elected vice-president of the United States in 2008. I have continued to teach since my husband won the 2020 presidential election. I am the only first lady so far to hold a paying job outside the White House.
C) Last week, I made a surprise visit to Eastern Europe. I visited refugees in Romania and Slovakia before traveling to a city in western Ukraine. There, I met with Olena Zelenska, wife of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Who am I?
